History

The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth was founded by 5 individuals as an outgrowth of their volunteer work on the Advisory Council of the Lehigh County Office of Children and Youth Services. They saw firsthand how the basic needs of many abused, neglected and at-risk children were going unmet because of the lack of money from traditional government sources.

In 1990, they established The Fund to Benefit Children & Youth with the purpose of fulfilling those unmet needs. Since that time, demand for The Fund's resources continues to grow. Last year, through the support of generous donors like you, The Fund provided more than $200,000 to help abused neglected and at-risk children and their families in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
